Navodaya Trust’s “New Navodaya Institute of Nursing” Mandya believes in the following statement of philosophy that Nursing is a service, refers to the whole person through ministry of caring & nurturing. Nursing assists individuals, families and communities where ever they are to prevent illness, promote and restore health. The faculty believes that this course in nursing prepares nursing in both the hospital and community. Education is process development which leads to behavioral modification based on the acquisition of knowledge, attitude and skill. Learning is a continues process, which promotes of intellectual enquiry, creativity, self – awareness, maturity and evaluation of learning
experience. Students are responsible for responding for learning experiences as active participants.
